Information: Hi. I'm Anna Lustenberg, Director - External Affairs. I am responsible for the company's relationship and interaction with municipal and county governments in Burlington, Hunterdon, Mercer, Somerset and Union, as well as local and county organizations and statewide organizations. I am also responsible for supporting Verizon's lines of business initiatives in my territory.

During my tenure with Verizon (formerly Bell Atlantic) I have held positions in the Customer Service Centers and in Public Affairs and Government Relations.

I represent Verizon as a Director on the following Boards: Mercer County Community College Foundation; the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce; the Mercer County Workforce Investment Board; D.A.R.E-New Jersey; George Street Playhouse; NJ SHARES; the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce; and the Somerset County Business Partnership.

Previously, I served as the Chair of the Middlesex County Workforce Investment Board and Vice-Chair of the Greater Raritan WIB and the Executive Committee of New Brunswick Tomorrow. I served as an East Windsor Township Councilwoman from 1993-1997; was President of the Hightstown/East Windsor Business Professional Women in 1998; and president of the Hightstown/East Windsor League of Woman Voters from 2007-2008. I was selected by City News as one of New Jersey's "100 Most Influential" in 1999. I also received the Community Leaders of Distinction award from the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2002; the Spirit of Somerset Award in 2003; and, in 2004 was honored as a "Woman of Distinction" by the Delaware-Raritan Girl Scout Council.

I attended Fairleigh Dickinson and Rider universities. I was a Leadership New Jersey Fellow, Class of 2000. I've also completed the Leadership Challenge Program at Wharton; the Management Development Program in Corporate Community Relations at Boston College; and the Leadership Excellence Program at the Center for Creative Leadership in North Carolina. However, I've learned some of life's most important lessons as a volunteer hospice counselor.

I would be more than happy to talk with you about the many services Verizon offers. I can tell you more about how Verizon is transforming itself into a next generation broadband company with our fiber network and our new FiOS services, which provide clearer voice, faster Internet and choice in the cable TV market with our FiOS TV service.
