Information: As Vice President - Government Affairs for Verizon New Jersey External Affairs, Ulises Diaz is responsible for interfacing with NJ State Government, including the Governor's office and State Legislature. In his role, he is responsible for monitoring the impact of legislation to ensure it aligns with the company's interests and goals.


Prior to his current position, Diaz served as Vice President of External Affairs for United Water, where he was responsible for external affairs activities and initiatives. Before becoming VP at United Water, Diaz served as Director of Business Development and Government Relations for the company. In this capacity, Diaz headed-up a business development team and coordinated proposals and contract negotiations.


Along with his responsibilities Verizon, Diaz also sits on the Executive Board of Palisades General Hospital and is a member of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a Trustee for the Hudson Economic Development Corporation and for Felician College in New Jersey.


Diaz holds a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from Rutgers University in New Jersey and is currently a Master of Arts candidate in Corporate Communications at Seton Hall University, also in New Jersey.
